Canoe Cove Marina is perfectly located near Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, Victoria International Airport and Victoria, the capital of British Columbia. Within easy reach are the Gulf Islands, Saanich Inlet and many deep bays where you can find solitude, view whales and dolphins and catch your dinner. You can also head south through the fabulous fishing at the south end of Vancouver Island to the wild, beach-lined coast on Vancouver Island’s west side.
Canoe Cove has a rich maritime history. The Cove is home to a 450-berth marina with mainly permanent moorage that includes 140 boathouses and 28 covered slips. We offer dryland storage in our 200,000 square foot yard for both storage and do-it-yourself project work. Visiting boats are assigned unoccupied slips as available. Please call and make a reservation. Electricity, water, garbage and recycling are available on site. The Marina operates one of the largest full-service yacht repair facilities in British Columbia providing services that include bottom paint application, major mechanical installations, structural repair and modifications of fiberglass, aluminum and steel vessels.
Over the decades a community of businesses offering boaters every service imaginable has grown up around Canoe Cove. Built by hand, stone by stone, the Stonehouse Restaurant offers a rich menu of elevated pub fare and entrees, supported by a robust selection of beers and wines. Canoe Cove Joe’s is a great place to swap stories with boaters over a beverage and burger. Other onshore services include a fully stocked marine-hardware chandlery, yacht brokers, repairs and maintenance, full service fuel dock, laundry, shower and washroom facilities, kayak rentals and more.
