Stones Marina and Boatyard takes pride in being a place boaters can call home. It is a gathering place and a place to make life-long connections.

The facility is located on Newcastle Channel adjacent to the 700-acre Newcastle Island Marine Provincial Park. From that location, you can explore the north and south Gulf Islands or navigate across the Strait of Georgia to Princess Louisa Inlet and Desolation Sound. Many of our skippers live in the Lower Mainland and take advantage of BC Ferries or Seair Seaplanes to commute to and from their boat. Nanaimo has a long seafaring history and its charming, dynamic downtown is nearby.

The facility offers a full amenity marina and offers a wide selection of services. Our yacht maintenance and repair services, boat yard, boat storage and yacht management programs will help make it easier for you to care for your investment.

Carlos O’Bryan’s Irish Pub overlooks the marina and offers a great selection of beverages and offers a tasty food menu. You can charter a boat or learn to sail at the Nanaimo Yacht Charters and Sailing School, who will provide you with a wonderful introduction to our pristine and spectacular cruising grounds.

The marina boasts the highest standards of construction, security and convenience. High definition and infra-red cameras, gates and comprehensive lighting will satisfy your security requirements. The marina offers open and covered moorage and features private slips with wrap-around berths. Most berths come with large dock boxes and you can also rent private heated storage lockers ranging from 25 to 160 square feet.
