Indigenous Guide Dave Bodaly
Dave Bodaly is of English descent and a First Nation’s member of Snuneymuxw First Nation in Nanaimo. He is an elder, knowledge keeper, cultural tour guide, artist, cedar weaver and photographer. He has hosted cultural tours on Saysutshun Island, in Nanaimo and on Gabriola Island including at the Gabriola Museum in summer and during National Indigenous History Month. He has also travelled with Maple Leaf Adventures in the southern Gulf Islands, sharing his traditional knowledge with guests.
