Nestled on the shores of the charming small Town of Ladysmith on Vancouver Island’s spectacular east coast, the marina is set in the perfect location to explore the gulf islands.
Located 55 nautical miles north of Victoria, Oyster Bay Marina is a welcoming stopover on your way up the east coast of Vancouver Island. You will probably wish to linger. From here you can explore the Gulf Islands, troll in rich fishing waters, and visit bustling Nanaimo harbour, returning to a base camp that feels like home. There is plenty for children to do at nearby Transfer Beach Park with its play park, swim beach and kayak & paddleboard rentals. Explore the nooks and crannies of our sheltered inlet.
Our 1100 feet of visitor moorage accommodate vessels up to 32 metres (100 ft). The Welcome Centre has a laundry, washrooms, showers and free Wi-Fi. Docks are secured with gates and cameras and serviced with shore power and water. The Town of Ladysmith is a ten-minute walk away where you will discover a wide variety of cafe’s, pubs, shops and services on historic First Street.
