Ladysmith Marina, tucked up in Ladysmith Harbour in the heart of the Cool Mediterranean climate zone on the south-east coast of Vancouver Island. is perfectly located for exploration during our warm summers and mild winters. The fabled Gulf Islands are almost within hailing distance. The many bays and inlets of Vancouver Island’s coast are dotted with villages and marinas. The capital city of Victoria and the welcoming waterfront of Nanaimo are short sails away.

Best of all, charming, hospitable Ladysmith is your host community. The cozy town of 8,000 people is set on a hillside overlooking the protected waters of Ladysmith Harbour, and has the laid back charm of a seaside village. The heart is the historic downtown, where people still chat with their neighbours in cafés and shop in little boutiques. While the town is growing, at heart Ladysmith will always be a small town. Greenways, ocean-side walking trails, beaches, and parks enhance the relaxed sense of community. Just one hour from Victoria and 5 minutes from Nanaimo Airport, the town and marina are an accessible getaway destination or homeport.

We have secure moorage for vessels up to and over 100′, with 30 and 50 amp power, wifi, and free parking available to all moorage customers. The Captain’s Cafe offers breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Sunday. We are also pleased to offer first access to the newest boathouses on Vancouver Island, which are built to order from 50′ – 100′.
