Maple Bay Marina, accessible by land, air and sea, is ideally located for exploring the Gulf Islands and the bays along Vancouver Island’s southeast coast. Tucked away at the most southern end of Maple Bay, we are the perfect stopover point when cruising between Victoria and Nanaimo via Sansum Narrows. Explore warm, protected waters, island inlets and beaches, and assorted island cultures. A favourite home port for many due to the abundance of services and things to do, you will want to explore like a local and stay for several days.
Don’t have a boat? No worries. Maple Bay Marina is less than an hour’s drive from Victoria or Nanaimo. There are some terrific ways to get on the water rent a kayak, try a float home vacation, or contact local charter operations. Complete your day with lunch or dinner at the Shipyard Restaurant and Pub.
Maple Bay Marina offers practically everything a boater needs. Our 400-slip marina accommodates boats up to 110 feet in length. Here you will find covered moorage, a fuel dock, full service boatyard with travel lift, licensed mechanics and shipwrights, chandlery, yacht sales office and float home community. Our Mariners Market and Espresso Bar offers a place for conversation while stocking up on essentials and shopping for local art, books and gifts. Cook your catch on our covered patio with BBQs. Take advantage of nearby hiking trails and our shuttle van to Downtown Duncan or a local golf course.
